"Do I need to make an account before placing an order?"


Customer accounts are free and optional, and you can always checkout as a guest without creating an account.


We do recommend creating an account so that you can move through the checkout process faster, store multiple shipping addresses, wishlist your favorite items, view and track your orders, and more! You can make a free account here.

"Where are your clothes and accessories manufactured?" 


Most of our brands and clothing are manufactured right here in the USA!


Other apparel is imported to California from reputable and high-quality suppliers in Vietnam, China, or Guatemala. 


All of our products ship brand new with tags from our warehouse in Los Angeles, CA, where they are in-stock and ready to be packed! 




"Where can I find the SKU number of a product?" "What is an SKU number?"


Each product's SKU number is located on its listing page, right above the product title.


This is an example SKU number: "SKU: 53724a.L" 


"SKU" stands for "Stock Keeping Unit", and SKU numbers are used to help identify a specific product in a specific color and specific size. Using SKU numbers helps prevent any misunderstandings about which product/color/size you may be referring to, and helps us help you better! 




"The size or color I want is missing from the listing page." "The size or color I want is crossed out, and I can't add it to my cart."


Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that this is likely because that size or color is sold out. 


We always do our best to restock sold out items, but there are times when our suppliers produce a very limited quantity of a product and once it sells out, there sadly may not be another production run.


If there is ever a product you really love, we encourage you to treat yourself to it - or add it to your wishlist if you'd like to think it over! Wishlisting items that are out of stock in your size or color is a good idea and makes it easy to check back later to see if we've restocked those variants! 






"Where can I find my order ID number?"


Your order ID number can be found in your confirmation email and under Order History on your Mint + Hazel account page. It will begin with "MH".


This is an example order ID number: "#MH1001"




"Can I cancel or change my order?"


Yes, and yes! Please reach out to us at with your order number as soon possible within 2 hours of placing your order if you need to cancel or edit it, and we'll gladly update your order! 


We can change quantities and add or remove in-stock items. If your order's total item cost previously qualified for free shipping but it falls to or below $49 after editing, we'll have to add on $4.95 to cover shipping costs. If your new order total rises above $49, we'll make sure to refund the $4.95 you originally paid for shipping! 


For a quick resolution, please use SKU numbers (found on product pages), item sizes, and clear instructions on what you'd like to change in your order. 




"Can I change the shipping address on my order?"


If you need to change the shipping address on your order, please get in touch with us within 2 hours of placing your order OR as soon as possible: 


Please note that since we try to process and ship out orders quickly, we cannot guarantee that we can successfully change your order, but we will do our best. 




"What payments do you accept?"


We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, ELO, Shopify Payments, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. 




"Do you restock sold out styles?"


We occasionally restock sold out styles, especially if customer demand for them has been high!


If something you love has sold out, you can reach out to us and let us know so we can focus our efforts on restocking it if possible! We also receive new arrivals weekly, and may stock similar styles, so please keep an eye on our listings and email newsletter!




"I did not receive a confirmation or tracking email from you."


Please definitely let us know if this happens, and we'll gladly resend those emails! Just in case, please also check your junk or spam folders as our emails may have accidentally been sent to those folders.


If you think you might have entered the incorrect email address at checkout, please contact our customer care team and they will be able to resend those emails and correct our email address on file for you:




"An item I bought went on sale after I paid for it. Can I be refunded the price difference?"


Yes! We know it's always upsetting to miss out on a sale. If the price of an item you purchase decreases within 72 hours (3 days) after your order, please write us ASAP and we'll happily refund you the difference! 


Just reach out to us at and send us your order number (like "#MH1001") and links to the items you bought that have fallen in price. 


We currently only price match within our online store, Mint + Hazel. We will match the price differences that occur within 72 hours (3 days) of your purchase. Our prices may change due to special promotions and discount sales. 




"I received the wrong items." "I've received items that I did not order."


If we've sent you an item you did not order - or items in the wrong sizes or colors - please contact our customer care team ASAP at! We want to make things right as soon as possible for you.


Please include the following info in your email:


  1. Photos of the incorrect item(s) you have received
  2. The SKU number, color, and size of the item you ordered (SKU numbers can be found on product pages)
  3. Your order ID number beginning with "MH"




"I am missing item(s) from my order."


If your order is missing item(s), please get in contact with our customer care team as soon as possible at

  1. Photos of all the item(s) you have received
  2. The SKU number(s) of the item(s) you are missing
  3. Your order ID number beginning with "MH"




"I have received a defective item." "The item I received doesn't look like the listing pictures." 


We take your satisfaction very seriously, so we definitely want to make things right when we've messed up! 


If you've received a defective item, please immediately send photos of the defects and a description to so we can help resolve your issues as soon as possible. We'll do our best to help out! 


Just to be safe, please also take care to review our item photos, color options, and listing descriptions carefully to make sure your purchase matches your expectations. 






"How do I use a promo/discount/coupon code on my order?"


You can enter promo codes on the checkout page in the box that says "gift card or discount code". (Please note that the checkout page won't load unless you have at least one item in your cart!)


To navigate to this page, please go to your cart page and then click the blue button that says "proceed to checkout". Don't worry - doing this definitely won't charge your credit card right away, but it will take you to the next step of checking out so you can use your promo codes! Then find the text box that says "gift card or discount code", and type or paste your promo code there.




"I forgot to add my promo/discount/coupon code to my order before checking out. Am I still able to apply it?"


We can definitely help you with that! We'll gladly apply a valid promo code to your order after it's already been placed, and then issue a refund for the difference back to your method of payment. 


Please email us within one week (7 days) of your order at and let us know your order number and which unexpired promo code you'd like us to apply to your order. 


Please note that promo codes cannot usually be stacked (most can only be used one at a time). 


We deeply regret that gift cards cannot be retroactively applied to an order once it is successfully placed. Please ensure you've applied your gift card(s) to your order prior to finalizing checkout. 






"What is Sezzle? How do I use Sezzle?" 


Sezzle is a third-party payment solution that allows Mint + Hazel customers the freedom to buy now and pay later - with no interest!

"I'm looking for a particular size or color of an item and I can't find it on the listing page." "This listing is missing my size." "This listing has photos of a color I want, but that color doesn't seem to be available." 


Unfortunately, if a size or color of an item appears to be unavailable or missing from the item's listing page, that usually means that variant is sold out. It may be restocked in the future, however! 


We work to offer and restock a wide variety of wonderful apparel, but there are times when a popular color or size sells out for good. We hate for you to miss out on something that you would've loved wearing, so we recommend adding items you like to your wishlist (even if your size or favorite color doesn't seem to be in stock) so you can check back and see if they might be in stock later! 






"I am unsure about a size or fit. How do I find out what size is best?"


Our sizes are USA women's sizes, and should fit true-to-size. We recommend finding the sizes that fit you best on our size charts, or ordering the usual size that you wear. 


We want you to be completely happy with your fit, so we offer a 30-day free return policy so you can shop with peace of mind - if anything doesn't fit right, just let us know and we'll help you start a return!

"Do you offer plus sizes?"


Yes! We carry plus-sized apparel in several styles for sizes 1XL, 2XL, and 3XL, and you can view our plus size collection here. 




"What is the difference between XL and 1XL?" "Are 2XL and XXL the same?"


We take customer satisfaction very seriously at Mint + Hazel, and we want to make sure your fit is flawless. Our plus size selection is specifically cut-and-sewn for a even more flattering fit on curvier ladies.


XL, XXL, and XXXL are in misses sizes, while clothing in plus sizes like 1XL, 2XL, or 3XL are specially proportioned to fit fuller figures more comfortably and better.


For example, a 2XL plus size blouse is roomier in the bust and stomach area than a XXL misses size, and its sleeve lengths, cuffs, neckline, and armholes take into account a good curvy fit (whereas the XXL might result in extra-long sleeves and wider-than-desired necklines). 


At Mint + Hazel, we carry several wonderful plus size brands which all use slightly different size charts for their clothing lines. We created our size charts while taking each brand's sizing into account so you can easily refer to them to find your fit. 


And just in case you're not thrilled with your purchase, we'll be there to help with our free 30-day return policy!




"What's the difference between junior plus and plus size?"


Initially created to provide stylish fits for plus size young adults and teens, junior plus fashion also caters to the everyday plus size adult woman.


Junior plus can be slightly smaller, slimmer, or shorter than plus size, but it shares the same naming scheme: 1XL, 2XL, 3XL, etc. 
While junior plus apparel sometimes runs 1 - 2 numeric sizes smaller than plus size, we always endeavor to offer junior plus clothes that fit closer to adult plus size. 
For our customers' convenience, we offer free 30-day returns, we use adults to model our junior plus clothing, and we provide model measurements and sizes worn! 
When in doubt, adults may prefer sizing up in junior plus for a comfier fit! 





"How do my purchases at Mint + Hazel support charity?"


Mint + Hazel partners with ShoppingGives to make supporting your choice of causes and charities effortlessly easy while you enjoy shopping in our online boutique! 1% of every item's sale price goes towards charity, and you get to choose where we donate! 


  1. Simply shop as usual! Add items you love to your cart. 
  2. Anytime while browsing, click "Select Cause" on a product page or on your Shopping Cart page, and choose a philanthropic cause or your favorite charity from a huge list of wonderful organizations. 
  3. Receive a lovely email upon checkout that lists the charities and donation amounts that your purchase enabled!


Donating is always absolutely free for you as a customer (all donation amounts are taken from Mint + Hazel's revenue). 




"Can I increase my order's donation amount?"


If you'd like to increase your donation amount a bit more from your own pocket, Mint + Hazel also provides the opportunity to round up your change and donate those extra cents to a wonderful cause of your choice!


Our customers can voluntarily donate their extra change on their cart page as they are checking out. Just look for this handy mint green box at the bottom of the page! 








"Do you offer Mint + Hazel gift cards?"


Yes, we do! Our digital gift cards make a great gift idea for folks who'd like to choose from our varied and sweeping collection themselves. 




"How do I purchase and use a Mint + Hazel gift card?"


You can go here to purchase a digital gift card. Just choose the value of the gift card you want, add it to your cart, and checkout. You should receive a confirmation email containing your new gift card's number. Please double-check your spam and trash folders (and reach out to us) if you don't see this email soon after purchasing a gift card. 


You can use your new gift card yourself, or you can send the gift card number to an intended recipient! Please be careful to keep your gift card number private -- anyone can use and spend it if they know the gift card number. 




"If I used a gift card to pay for an order that is refunded, will the refund also apply to my gift card?"


Yes! If you used a gift card to pay for your purchase, then the amount of the gift card used on that purchase will be refunded to the gift card.


If only part of your order is refunded (and the order was purchased using a gift card alongside other methods of payment), then we'll make sure to apply your partial refund to the gift card first until it reaches the full amount available for refund. Then the rest of the refund is applied to your other payment methods.

We are an online-only boutique at this time that ships our orders from Los Angeles, CA. Despite only having a digital presence, we strive to be very accessible and available so that we can help you curate new beautiful pieces for your wardrobe!
